About this program
Autobahn Country Club sends recurring text messages to members who have explicitly opted in, related to the North Track Expansion construction project. Messages cover three categories only:
- Track schedule changes — temporary closures, run-group schedule updates, and similar operational notices.
- Construction progress updates — milestone alerts when notable phases of the North Track Expansion are reached.
- Time-sensitive safety alerts — rare, urgent notices that affect on-track member safety.
Members receive an approximate 2–6 messages per month. We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party content via SMS, and we do not sell, rent, or share member phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
How members opt in
Opt-in is double-gated and explicit at every step. A member must:
- Sign in to the member portal at
autobahn2035.comvia a magic-link email sent to the address on their member record. - Go to Profile and enter their mobile phone number.
- Receive a one-time 6-digit verification code via SMS, enter it, and tap Verify. (This proves the number belongs to the member.)
- After verification, the “SMS notifications” toggle unlocks. Members must explicitly turn it on and tap Save to begin receiving texts.
The disclosure language shown on this page also appears directly underneath the SMS toggle on the member’s profile, immediately before they enable it. The opt-in is recorded with timestamp and remains active until the member either toggles SMS off in their profile or replies STOP to any message.
Opt-in flow (in-app screens)
The screens below replicate what members see during the opt-in flow inside the signed-in member portal. The SMS notifications toggle is off by default — members must affirmatively turn it on and press Save to opt in.

STOP, HELP, and other supported keywords
The required carrier keywords are honored automatically by our SMS infrastructure (Twilio):
- STOP — unsubscribes the replying number from all future messages in this program. Members receive a final confirmation reply and no further messages.
- HELP — returns a brief automated reply with the program name, support contact email, and a link to this page.
- START / UNSTOP — allows a previously unsubscribed number to re-opt in.
Replying STOP at any time removes the member from the SMS program. Doing so does not affect their membership, their access to the member portal, or their email notifications — only SMS is affected.
Privacy & data handling
Phone numbers are stored only on the member’s own roster record and shared with one third party: Twilio, our SMS service provider, for the sole purpose of delivering verification codes and the opted-in notifications described above.
Mobile information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Full data-handling details are in our Privacy Policy. The legal terms governing the SMS subscription are in our Terms of Service.
